Tractor paradise Ponderosa Ranch Part 2: More photos

"The tug of Hoss and Little Joe" headline in the September issue of the journal agro classic the photos belonging to those articles. In fact, the green Aultman-Taylor (built around 1915) is right on the ranch known from the TV series Bonanza and Ponderosa.

Until 2003, the Ponderosa Ranch is a popular amusement park. But as the years waned, interest in Bonanza, the owners sold the site of a modern gold rush. Silicon Valley billionaire David Duffield, founder of software company PeopleSoft, two years ago Estate on the banks of the picturesque Blue Lake Tahoe for 50 million dollars bought and closed forever.

The Ponderosa Ranch in Incline Village, Nevada (USA) for many years was an amusement park. Today you can only admire them from afar - it is privately owned.

In the old silver town of Virginia City, the time has stopped - but only because of the tourists. amongst a number of saloons and souvenir shops there's also a red-light museum. The sign promises (or threatens?): "Not for the faint of heart"
